BC Lounge during Formula 4 UAE Final Race

Last Sunday, the LAB has gathered Industry Experts from the Mobility Sector to discuss upcoming projects in alignment to the UAE 2030 Vision that aims to develop appropriate infrastructure, while preserving the environment; the Government will ensure the development of a professionally designed and well-managed urban environment in the emirate’s towns and cities, complete with world-class traffic and transport systems.

Masdar City is one such example of a smart sustainable city, regionally and globally. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have  have been ranked as the smartest cities in the Middle East and North Africa region.in the 'Smart City Index 2021'. 

The LAB was organized during the thrilling Final Race of the Formula 4 UAE Championship, where young drivers are battling for the final title (a special attention to our UAE Team composed by talented Keanu Al Azhari and Rashid AlDaheri).

In the Panel Mobility & Sustainability it was discussed that the UAE is the first country in the Gulf Cooperation Council to commit to net-zero by 2050; and that all growth and development must align with that #commitment , which means each of us have to do our part. Abu Dhabi is developing a comprehensive #mobility strategy, known as the Abu Dhabi Surface Transport Master Plan (STMP), which aims to enhance the #transportation system and improve the mobility experience; and #technologies play a big role within EV Development, charging stations, autonomous vehicles, and #smart mobility, and the urge of implementing sustainable finance regulatory framework. It is imperative the transformative shift in the automotive industry towards sustainability and the critical role of self-driving vehicles and shared ownership.
