The MENA Region - A Case for Remarkable Energy Transition and Abundance of Wisdom.

From desert sands to renewable powerhouses, the MENA region is a major producer and consumer of fossil fuels, but also faces many challenges and risks from its dependence on them. Therefore, some countries in the region have started to diversify their economies, invest in renewable energy sources, and promote innovation and sustainability. The region has a huge potential for renewable energy development, especially solar and wind power, which could provide more than 60% of its electricity by 2030. Some of the leading countries in this field are Morocco, Egypt, and the UAE, which have launched several large-scale projects and initiatives to achieve their renewable energy targets. The UAE is also one of the top 10 oil producers in the world with 100 billion barrels of proven reserves.

In the heart of MENA, a sustainable energy revolution is unfolding, promising a future as bright as the tales of its past.
