It is essential to focus on leveraging data to support professionals drive safe, green and efficient mobility in the AI and digital era.

The center of the discussion aimed at concrete initiatives that the industry is piloting to drive safe, green and efficient mobility and how can companies leverage data to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks.

Today’s organizations with transportation fleets are more important than ever, they are the backbone of solidifying nation’s overall supply chain. In order to remain healthy and viable, fleets must continue to identify ways of managing risks associated, and more companies are turning to advanced safety technologies and telematics as a comprehensive solution.

One of the more subtle ways that telematics can impact safer driving is by fundamentally changing the driving behavior.

Though fully autonomous vehicles are still a ways into our future, applying vehicle data to change vehicle performance brings exciting new capabilities to vehicles today.

These software upgrades empower us to improve our vehicle experiences through direct control of our vehicles and to automate safer driving for everyone.

IRU Director of Certification and standards Patrick Philipp said, “Data-driven approaches empower companies and individuals to make informed choices, leading to a safer, more efficient and greener transport system.”
